It's admirable how I at first couldn't play Mario Odyssey on my 3770k, but since some update that I probably missed, I now can! My old 2014 rig plays Switch games at 40fps+!

Zelda Link's awakening has really improved. I was having around 50 fps with vulkan and now close to fix 60.
Yoshi's crafted world on the other hand is not yet rendered properly in my system.

When that other update comes around and age of calamity becomes playable finally, I’ll definitely give it another shot. The framerate really killed it for me on the switch

I have a older system "MSI Z97-G45 4.0 Ghz i7 4790k on a with a GTX 980ti. 32 Gb of DDR3. Running Windows 10 Home Edition on Ultimate Performance mode, updated GPU Drivers, Clean Installed Yuzu EA and Optimized with NVidia Control Panel and set to High Performance in Windows 10 Graphics settings.
So Mario Kart, Hyrule Warriors and Links Awakening run perfect at 60FPS, but Smash Bros. Ultimate still runs terrible...
Is that new Texture Decoder automatically enabled? Lots of games still run like crap even after the Early Access download.
Didn't really notice much of a difference at all after trying the Yuzu EA update.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is my old ass computer just chunking out with the more cpu/gpu demanding games during Yuzu's infancy?

Curious, what ver/settings did u use for Zelda ?
I have a 8700k/3080, and i get around 40-45fps~ OGL, and Vulkan would be about 5-8 below that.
There are moments of 60...but not like in these areas :O
I Do have the 1080p mod tho

With new updates do you need to also update prod keys or title keys ? Coz it’s been a while since I emulated, I was playing yoshis crafted world on my switch then decided to play it on my pc and it’s miles better on pc especially on ryujinx

botw2 will be running on the same engine as botw so i really hope some awesome performance on yuzu.

I'm still getting terrible artifacts and performance on Age of Calamity on Vulkan. Here's to hoping the upcoming update to shaders solve the issue.
It's also still in my dreams the shader cache for Vulkan

How/why is this emulator so good? It's crazy how good it is and how frequently it gets improved. Is the Switch hardware just easy to program for or is it just large number of people working on it? I wish the YUZU people would send some people over and get the Xenia emulator in a decent state. I can't play that on a Nvidia for more than a few minutes without it crashing.

I don't think we should assume that just because Zelda BOTW runs great in Yuzu, that its sequel is going to. Nintendo could be making all sorts of changes to the engine for the sequel, that may not play nicely with Yuzu.

I'm not sure if this is how it works, but I wish the Yuzu and Ryujinx devs could join up to make one super switch emulator. Then again, competition is good for growth

Any news on amd gpu improvement? Would be glad to be able to play MHGU smoothly on AMD Vulkan

Long time watching one ida pop in to my head after i talk pc stuff with a friend. When windows launches direct storage and nVidia now support gpu passtru so a gpu can be select to one viturel machine or more if u have rtx ect. Do u think emulator of switch will use direct storage and gpu passtru? I have 2 nVidia gtx 980 in sli with passtru i can unsli gpu take one gpu use in VM do u think this gonna be good on emulator passtru to emulator.( is not emulator a viturel machine basically? )

How did you manage to run it for 8 hours straight? Is it finally fixed?

I have the latest yuzu version from the website. I have no keyboard coming on screen. Astral chain is strange on the graphic side ( it's redish on the character). Luigi mansion 3 run well but the game also had some artefact i would say ? Don't have these issue on other game i tried (or pc games).
I have a ryzen 1600x and a 1080ti

What about vulkan support, for amd cards?

If possible, can we also get some updates on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order?
It's exclusive to the console and I'm looking forward / hopeful for the possibility of playing through it via emulation.

The fact that I can play Breath of the Wild on my i7 6700HQ and GTX 1060 (6gb) with 16gb of ram is a testament to how optimized the emulator already is. I can't wait to see how absolutely bonkers it will be in a year from now.
