"I don't know where to begin, but right now, I'm sitting in Poland, and all I can think of is how my dad felt when he dropped me at the airport," Sonal reflects. "It's so special to be able to live my dream. My dream has always been to do something bigger, to make my parents feel proud, and to do something bigger than myself. I didn't know it would manifest this way. But my parents have been my pillar of support, especially my father, who never even questioned me once."

Sonal has come a long way; her journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication and relentless preparation. Her willingness to give it her all, fueled by the confidence instilled in her by her father, is evident in every step she takes towards her dream. "If I said I wanted to do something, he would ask how he could support me," Sonal recalls. "When I was 17 and going to America for the first time, he looked at me and said, 'Are you willing to take responsibility for your life? If you are, then go on, no questions asked, because if you can take responsibility for exactly how that action goes, good or bad, you are free to do whatever you want.' That gave me so much confidence and independence. I was cautious, but I took risks and a leap in faith, and that's what got me here today."

A crucial part of Sonal's journey has been her social mission, Pockets of Joy, which has touched countless lives. "My father started working at a very young age to support his father because they didn't have strong financial backing. He stopped going to school when he was in seventh grade because he could not afford an education anymore, but that man never gave up no matter what life threw his way. He gave us, my siblings and I, the life of our dreams. And I want to give him everything to make him the happiest person ever. It's because of him and his sacrifices that we got the best education and could take on and live our dreams, no questions asked."
