17, 1900, at the Indiana Hospital. A daughter of Edward and Sarah Shields Harris, she was born Nov. 15, 1916, at Marion Center. Mrs. Mocek had been a former resident of Juneau and had been living at her present address for the past 23 years.

Torrance Holds Rescue Drill BLAIRSVILLE A surprise fire drill was held in the vacant Dibert building a at Torrance State Hospital Monday night, with the hospital fire brigade and the Blairsville Volunteer Fire Department participating. Hospital Fire Marshal James Hoffman and Blairsville Fire Chief Dana Gould planned the exercise to determine what might occur if a fire were to occur at the institution. Mannequins and smoke bombs were used to simulate a rooftop rescue of trapped patients and staff members. Masks, ground ladders, and the Blairsville Fire Department's 55-foot snorkel truck was used in the rescue drill.

A son of Louis W. and Edna Underwood Cramer, he was born Feb. 14. 1921, in Unity Township. Westmoreland County.

Mr. Cramer attended the Free Methodist Church, Black Lick. He was a retired employee of Latrobe Steel and was presently employed by the Blairsville-Saltsburg School District. A veteran of World War 11, having served with the U.S. Army, Mr.
